  • Caretaker
    •  

      Supply Caretaker

      We are currently accepting applications for the position of Supply Caretaker. The primary function of the job is to maintain a clean, safe, healthy and efficient environment within designated schools and Board offices.  Duties include shift work, floor cleaning, washroom maintenance, furniture moving, grounds care and operate power cleaning equipment, in accordance with established standards.
       
      The Board maintains a roster of temporary/casual staff for assignment to cover employee absences.  Supply staff are assigned from a pool on an as-needed basis.

      Please note the following documents are required as part of your application package:
      • ​Proof of educational credentials (minimum of grade 10 or Ontario equivalency)

  • Early Childhood Educator
    • Occasional Early Childhood Educator

      We are currently accepting applications for the position of Supply Designated Early Childhood Educator. The primary function of the job is to cooperate and collaborate with the teacher(s) to support enhanced learning and cognitive, emotional and social development in accordance with the Education Act in delivering high quality and effective play-based Early Learning Program.

      We are currently accepting applications for Supply Education Assistants.  The primary function of the job is to provide assistance to students in the areas of spiritual, education, social, behavioural and physical needs.

      ·       Proof of educational credentials (minimum of grade 12 or Ontario equivalency).
      ​Preference will be given to those that currently hold an Education Assistant Diploma or a Child and Youth Worker Diploma

      We are currently searching for Qualified Library Technician candidates to be hired immediately on a daily occasional basis. In addition, we are seeking Unqualified Library Technicians to work on a daily occasional basis or in annual long-term assignments.

      Our Parenting and Family Literacy Centres are school based programs where parents/caregivers and their children, from birth to six years of age, participate in play-based activities that promote the development of literacy and numeracy skills through discovery, inquiry, exploration and creativity. The programs are FREE and open to all.
      Our Parenting and Family Literacy Centres:
      ·         support children’s early learning and well-being of the whole child

      promote positive parent-child interaction and engagement

      help children transition more easily to kindergarten through a collaborative approach between parent/caregiver, program facilitator and kindergarten teacher

  • Psychologist Psychological Associate or Psychoeducational Consultant
    • Psychologist Psychological Associate or Psychoeducational Consultant

      The Toronto Catholic District School Board is currently using Apply to Education to search for Psychologist Psychological Associate or Psychoeducational Consultant candidates to work on an occasional basis.

      POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
      ·         Half-time and full-time positions (contract and permanent)
       
      WORK YEAR:
      ·         School Year Plus Six (6) Working Days
      ·         Applications are invited for the position of psychologist or psychological associate/psychoeducational consultant with duties to commence immediately
       
      DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
      ·         Psychological assessment/intervention and prevention services on behalf of students
      ·         Consultation with school personnel and parents and community agencies
      ·         Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team under the administrative and professional supervision of the Chief Psychologist.
       
      QUALIFICATIONS:
      ·         Ph.D. or Masters Degree in applied psychology with a focus on children and adolescents
      ·         Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
      ·         A valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a car.

    • Supply Secretary 

      We are currently accepting applications for Supply Secretary. The Supply Secretary will replace the permanent Secretary to provide secretarial and clerical support necessary for the efficient operation of the elementary and secondary school offices and Board offices in their absence.

      The Board maintains a roster of temporary/casual staff for assignment to cover employee absences.  Supply staff are assigned from a pool on an as-needed basis.

      Please note the following documents are required as part of your application package:
